I am thankful that both my husband and I are working … and that we have good credit! … so we can pay for two weeks in England and Scotland with our son.
I am really thankful that I finished my YA revisions in time to get the manuscript to a friend for a critique before I leave.
We leave very early Saturday morning. We have our books and our iPods and our funny little blowup pillows for the plane trip.
We have our cameras and our travel journals and our bright excitement for the rest of the journey!
See you July 1.

We're not going to make it to Wales this time - wahh! I've been there before, years ago when I was going to school in northern England. I really want to walk through Tintern Abbey again someday!
You went to school in England? Oh, I am green with envy... I have a thing for Britain and Ireland. And the accents...
Part of the time we'll be staying with friends, so the food will be great. The rest of the time, well ... we'll have to stick to curries!
Yes, I can't wait to etch new memories next to the old ones in my heart. :-)
Have fun and take lots of pics!
Scotland is my DREAM vacation! Ah, one of these days...
Have a great time!!!
Have a wonderful time! Are you going to skye, btw? (I didn't get to, so I'd love to live vicariously).
But my husband and I stayed on the Isle of Skye years ago, on our last trip. It was beautiful.
That's a great idea for a book to read on the trip! I'll have to locate a copy in the next 2 days. I read it so many years ago I don't remember it.
Have a great time! Take lots of photos!!!
:-)
