You can still call me Mo

I decided I was ready to step out from behind the pen name Monique.

Most people who read this blog know my real name is Lisa ... I've been using a pen name as a means of creating another layer of privacy on the Internet-thingie.

But it had begun to feel like lying to friends, so I'm done with it.

xo

I like it, Carrie Jo!

P.S. I meant to tell you that I giggled at "Mr. Jones, the hospital administrator work my mom works," in TIPS.

You know, it's kind of sad the little things I have to do just to amuse myself.

My poor husband.

I'm going to have to get a name tag that says CARRIE JO and you are going to have to get one that says LISA MO LISA.

Because I think that would be cool.

I was wondering about that when I saw your other post. I've known your name for awhile, but still think of you as Mo...or both...

Hi Lisa!

:-)

Do we need to fix you on our friends list or does it happen automatically?

I wanted to swith from jbknowles to joknowles but I didn't know how...

It's all automatic.

When you log on to LJ, they're offering "tokens" (on the home page) for new usernames, which is just a marketing ploy to say, "Hey, want to spend $15 for a permanent name change?"

I thought Monique was going to be your pen name for your books too? Did I dream that?

And I thought that FKA stood for something naughty at first.

I need to go brew another pot of coffee . . . .

I can guess the first word, but what did you think the second two were?

I ask because I can't see FYI without thinking it means F*** You, Imbecile.

Well, I didn't know exactly what. My eyes passed quickly over it and my brain went "Lisa F&*kin' A Monique?

What a dossier memory you have, Dot! Yes, I did think I wanted to be Monique Madigan on the cover of a book someday. But I changed my mind. (Hence the reason I don't have tattoos. I like the prerogative of changing my mind.)

Now I think I'll stick with L.K. Madigan.

Well, hello Lisa! I knew Monique was a pseudonym, but didn't know your real name. Glad to see you out from behind your mask!

Yo, Mo/Lisa!
I knew it wasn't Monique, but I didn't know what it was. I actually think of you as iLucy, most of the time. And I confuse you with at least one other person on my flist. I'm easily confused. :)
