JoNoWriMo Revision(s)

I need to revise my revisions, so I'm going to revise my plans for revisions.

Heehee!

I had three goals at the beginning of this years' JoNoWriMo:

1) Finish requested revisions of YA for agent who was interested. DONE.
2) Finish revisions of previous YA. (Started.)
3) Rewrite MG. (Started, with much struggling.)

Since then, I have been in contact with the agent who received my revised YA. She likes what I've done, but she has a few more tiny issues. (Let's leave it at that.)

Rather than cry, sigh, and bash my head against the wall, whine about additional revisions, I've calmed down caught a second wind, and will immerse myself in a second round of revisions.

Thus, I am revising my goals:

1) Finish requested revisions of YA for agent who was interested. DONE.
2) Finish requested revisions of YA for agent who is still interested.

Has this agent offered representation, or are you doing the revisions on a "revise and resubmit" basis? If you don't want to answer, I understand. I'm just interested for personal reasons.

There's nary an offer of representation.

Nope.

Nuh-uh.

Nein.

BUT.

We have exchanged a number of very detailed communications about the manuscript.

I'm hoping that the (second) revised ms will prompt representation.

If not, well ... I've learned a lot from the process.

I hope it results in an offer, too! Break a leg, my dear.

I had to revise my JoNo goals too. Still have fingers and toes crossed for you, but surprisingly, no cramping!
