I’m delighted to introduce Shani Petroff today on the abbreviated version of Authorial Intrusion.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY DRESS is the second book in Shani's fabulous BEDEVILED series:

Angel Garrett knows two things for sure. The first is that she inherited her devil-dad’s powers. The second is that she wreaks havoc whenever she tries to use them. Especially when she’s trying to impress her crush, Cole. Angel’s only solution is to stay as far away as possible from him until she learns how to harness this new gift. But how do you avoid someone and get him to ask you to the school dance at the same time?

Author Bio:

Shani Petroff is a writer living in New York City. In addition to tween and teen books, Shani writes for news programs and several other venues. When she’s not locked in her apartment typing away, she spends a whole lot of time on books, boys, TV, daydreaming, and shopping online. She has no devil lineage as far as she knows.

NEW writing advice in five words or less.
Shut the TV. Write. (When I’m in procrastination mode, I tend to turn to the television. What was supposed to be a quick break turns into an all day Law & Order marathon or whatever else happens to be on at the time. It sometimes takes all the will power I can muster to turn off the television (and my Internet connection) and go back to writing.)

What's the last book you read?
I was a huge Judy Blume fan growing up. I never read Forever, so I decided it was time for that to change. I just finished the book and realize I am still a huge Judy Blume fan!

Top 5 songs from your book's playlist, or just what you've been listening to lately.
These songs make me think of the first two books in the Bedeviled series so I’ve been listening to them recently!
You Belong With Me – Taylor Swift
Girlfriend – Avril Lavigne
Tell Me Something I Don’t Know – Selena Gomez
One Step At a Time - Jordin Sparks
Kiss Me-Sixpence None The Richer

Thanks for swiftly indulging our curiosity, Shani!

Now that's something I've never thought of--a playlist for my books. Thanks for interview!

I'd have to read this if only for the title, but from the short plot outline it sounds perfect for my niece. Thanks.

BTW I've bestowed a not as exciting, but ever so happy award on you, L.K. You can pick it up on my blog and spread the sunshine to other bloggers/writers you enjoy.

Happy Spring (It's coming!)
